Me, doing a presentation with the Wii remote as a Interactive Screen (Touch).

Place: Simon Bolivar University (Venezuela)
Event: Litte Install Festival. (I’m on the Ubuntu-ve team)

What’s thing’s you need for Do it!??

1. A Wiiremote
2. A home-made Infrared Pen.
3. A PC with Bluetooth (or a USB Bluetooth Dongle)
4. a GNU/Linux Distro. (ubuntu, arhlinux, fedora, etc..)
5. “Wiimote Whiteboard” Software, (You can install it by Synaptic.

In short time you can have a Interactive Screen using a LCD screen or a Video Beam. It’s Simple. Maybe I’can made my own tutorial step by step.

On the Video I used:

Lenovo ThinkPad SL500 laptop
Wiimote
My home made Infrared Pen.
Infocus Video Beam.
And a White Wall.. hehe!

En poco tiempo usted puede tener una pantalla interactiva utilizando una pantalla de cristal líquido o un Video Beam. Es simple. Tal vez haga mi propio tutorial paso a paso.

Mi Lapix Infrarrojo Casero.
Proyector InFocus.
Y una pared blanca .. hehe!

   They have these teacher wireless button device for teachers so they can click the buttons for power points while standing in class. The convineient part is that it has a laser pen integrated so the teacher can point. disable the auto click.
   impress + “Ubuntu paint fire in desktop” + presentation for class

   this uses the ir camera in the wii mote. can be used on any surface, even your stomach. it uses the ir pen to know where to draw.
