Posted by admin on May 8th, 2010 and filed under ir usb remote | 15 Comments »

This is accomplished with a little python script running in the n810, which receives the data from the wiimote via bluettoth, and translates the wiimote events into X-window events (mouse clicks or keystrokes)

The code is published at https://garage.maemo.org/projects/wiicontrol/

    Backtrack 3 USB install

Posted by admin on April 22nd, 2010 and filed under usb remote receiver | 23 Comments »

This is the beginning of a series of videos showing the things I learned setting up Backtrack 3 for myself. I liked the resources available to me, so I thought I would put what I know in one spot.(This video is more of a test, mainly because this is the easiest part of getting started)

I am currently using a Compaq Presario v5000 as my laptop. I mainly intend to use Backtrack for wardriving.

    More videos on the way.

I am still learning alot, feel free to criticize and rip on me. I would prefer suggestions, but hey, its the internet, you can do what you want.

    Would you buy one?

My old flash drive case broke, so I stuck it in a free Wii Remote keychain that used to have a led in it. Not only did I succeed, but It slides in and out nicely, and beats jump drive i’ve seen.
