  • is it possible to make a remote control go kart and have recharge its battery via USB?

Posted by admin on December 29th, 2009 and filed under usb remote controls | 3 Comments »

im building a go kart soon and i want to no if i can have its battery charge through a USB

USB will put out 5 volts at a maximum of 1 amp, or 5 watts. If you can recharge the battery with that small amount of power, then you can. But you will need circuitry to control the voltage and current to the battery.

Hells no dude, it’ll take so much power the USB isnt enough Metal Conductor for it. A wall adapter at 12v with low MaH will work though…
