    This video demonstrates the steps needed to make a BackTrack 4 Bootable USB stick. Here’s the links:

      Hey I feel retarded…lol. I followed all the steps correctly and I booted from my USB and it took me to the list where I can choose default or different resolutions. Then it takes me to the screen almost like command prompt in windows. What do I do from there?

      And to login; root@bt:startx (enter)
      internet:open konsole and type: /etc/init.d/wicd start (enter). Now connect using wicd network manager.
      Note for those with login/startx errors or black screen. upgrade or install a video card. if not, starting shoud work in safe graphical mode.cya

      how i will go to the desktop screen…
      i am typing “startx” and it say no screen found fatal error!
      what can i do to go at desktop? the installation and the boot is fine… is there any other command except startx?
